Founded by a dynamic mother-daughter duo with over 20 years of combined experience in the construction industry, we started Deep South with one simple mission: to create spaces that reflect our clients' lives, style, and vision. Based in the heart of Atlanta, GA, we bring Southern grit, grace, and craftsmanship into every project we touch.

What began as hands-on work in the construction world quickly evolved when we realized how much more we could offer. Meet The Founder, Madison

Madison, the owner and founder, began this journey in April 2016 under the name Alpharetta Cabinets, originally focused on providing high-quality cabinetry, countertops, and installation services to homeowners, builders, and contractors throughout the Metro Atlanta area.

As the relationships with clients grew, so did their requests—for more than just cabinets. Responding to those needs, she gradually expanded their offerings to include full-service home remodeling: from flooring and woodwork to complete interior and exterior renovations.

This evolution led to the launch of Deep South Home Improvements—a natural extension of our original cabinet business. Since then, the customer base has grown rapidly, and the reputation for reliable, high-quality work has helped the renovation division thrive.

Originally from Houston, Michelle made Georgia her home in 1970. What began as a creative hobby in her 20s has grown into a lifelong passion for home design. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience in the home improvement industry, Michelle brings a deep well of knowledge, a sharp design eye, and a genuine dedication to every project she takes on.

She understands that renovations—whether large-scale remodels or simple updates—can be overwhelming. That’s why her approach focuses on creating a positive, stress-free experience for her clients.
